New Year Celebration for Job Training Students

Dancing at deaf center The job training students are from the provinces and their training centers closed ten days before the new year to allow students to return home before the transportation prices skyrocketed as April 13th approached. The residents had a small new year celebration together on the last day they were at DDP House where they live.

New Year celebration at deaf center Dancing is a very important part of Khmer culture and tradition, and the deaf people want to be part of that also so they arranged for large speakers and music to be brought in, just like the hearing people do. Some of the hearing staff led the traditional dances and many of the deaf people joined in.
